Summer School

While the kids may be out of school for the summer, it doesn't mean you (and they) can't learn something. But where to start?

  • To begin, take a look at what your local college or university may offer. You don't have to fully enroll. Chances are good that even in the summer, schools will have lectures, events, and other opportunities that are open to the public.
  • Beyond that, sites like TED and Learnist help you go deeper on any topic you like.
  • Of course, you can even cuddle up with a good movie and learn something with a documentary or miniseries.

In other words, learning is all around you. Don't go all summer without getting a little bit smarter.
