Cell phones can be great; never before have we been able to stay in touch with so many people. But, there's a time and a place for everything, including when to gab. Movie theaters have those handy reminders that it's time to shut off your phone, but the rest of the world doesn't. So, when you're ordering something or checking out, standing in line or in a crowded space, be considerate of others and put the phone down. Focus on the people near you, looking them in the eye and being polite. You can call your friend back later.
