If you want to get crafty this weekend and do something that's good for the planet, reuse an old towel. We're not talking about drying off with the same towel more than once, of course (and don't let us know if you share a towel with the dog). Rather, we're looking for ways that you take a towel that's already had a long life in the drying business and now needs to be put to rest.
To get you started, here's a list of ideas we found around the web:
- Wise Bread lists 19 ways to reuse a towel, including making your own baby bibs.
- Here are 13 other suggestions. We like calling around to animal shelters to see if they need old towels.
- HGTV has seven more ideas, like making your own chic bathmat.
- Lastly, here are 10 fresh ideas for towels (and sheets). Impromptu picnic, anyone?
