Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The food we offer our kids to start their day is important, but what about non-food items we offer each morning? Use breakfast to not only nourish their little bodies, but nourish their spirits. Sit on the floor and have a morning picnic or gather round the kitchen table. Tell them how much they're loved and give some encouragement for a great day! Stop the morning-rush to make time for them and they'll get the much needed boost from within, much like the benefits of healthy breakfast.
