The next time you stay in a hotel, get the most out of those tiny shampoos, conditioners, and soaps. A few years ago, we mentioned organizations that can use those handy-travel sized toiletries, but there are other ways you can put small bottles to work, especially if you already used them at the hotel. In fact, here are six ideas to help make sure those toiletries don't go to waste. Having some soap or lotion at your disposal could be a very convenient proposition, as could simply using up what you get at the hotel.
Better yet, you can donate those small soaps to Global Soap Project to be made into new soap and donated to communities in need.
In other words, with a slight behavior change, you can make sure perfectly good shampoo doesn't go...wait for it...down the drain.
Any other ideas?
