She'll have 2-for-1 well drinks and draft beers, along with wine specials. While you're there, help us stock up on wrapping supplies for our Giving Tree project! SunTrust Classical Series: Beethoven and Superman - Featuring Beethoven's Violin Concerto
In May of 2007, Nashville audiences cheered Michael Daugherty's piano concerto Deus Ex Machina. This time, we hear what work catapulted Daugherty to international fame — the Metropolis Symphony. Critic David Hurwitz called this suite based on the Superman comic strip "jazzy, snazzy, faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive." The concert begins with 20-year-old prodigy Stefan Jackiw performing Beethoven's immortal Violin Concerto.

Award-winning songwriters Thom Schuyler and Don Schlitz perform together at the Vine Street Coffee House. For just a $5 donation you'll get fantastic music and oodles of fair-trade coffee.

The Teen African Relief Effort (TARE) at McGavock High School is sponsoring a film screening of the documentary "Darfur Now" on Friday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the McGavock High School auditorium.

Volunteer: Radnor Lake
Volunteers are needed to mulch trails, litter pick-up, trail projects, etc. Volunteers are required to fill out and sign a liability/volunteer form. All volunteers are recommended to bring work gloves and bottle water.
