Mom & Child Arts and Crafts Day at the Sexual Assault Center

– 2:00 p.m.

Come out and do some arts and crafts projects! At a child’s (or even a teen or adult’s) graduation from therapy at the center, we like give them something tangible to take with them to remember all of their good hard work and the positive coping skills they have learned in therapy—something positive to leave with.
You can help
Make congratulations certificates for graduates of the program
Paint positive statements on small rocks (imagine, hope, love, strength, courage, peace, etc.) so that the child/teen/adult could take the rock with them at the end of therapy.
Paint small ceramic flower pots with a packet of flowers - something that signifies growth and change and hope.
