Those interested in giving their time to help the less fortunate in the Tampa Bay community are welcome to attend one of the upcoming training meetings: Tuesday, Sept. 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or Saturday, September 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Ministries’ Family Grill, 2010 N. Florida Ave. Tampa, FL 33602.

The Ministries is expecting 24,000 families and 35,000 children (a 20 percent increase) will seek assistance during the upcoming holiday season due to the weak economy. As a result, they need the help of people who have strong leadership and management skills, great organizational skills, and a passion for helping others.
