Volunteers should park at the Public Works parking lot which can be accessed by turning right from South 5th St onto Summer Place, and taking a left into the Public Works guard station and walk over to LP Field. There is a sidewalk by the interstate up to Shelby St, turn left and it's a short walk to LP Field. Your vehicle will be parked inside our fenced parking area. The guard will know to expect volunteers.

There will be a tent marked Recycling Volunteers that will be set up near Gate 1, across from the Gift Shop. You can check in there and sign a waiver, get your t-shirt and receive instructions.

Our volunteers will encourage the tailgaters to recycle clean paper, aluminum and metal cans, and plastic, and will distribute paper bags with instructions for everyone who wants to participate. All items can be put in one bag and does not have to be separated. After the bags are filled, volunteers will assist in picking them up and taking them to the drop-off sites. We will also point out the locations of the drop-off sites to the tailgaters as we distribute the bags.
