Women's One-A-Day vitamins and Ellen DeGeneres have teamed up to sponsor free recorded calls that you can send to the women in your life to remind them to make their breast health a priority. You can send a call here: http://oneaday.varitalk.com/.

I think it's a really cool idea!

Paul K. joined our company in 1985 and was a well-respected leader and co-worker from the get-go. He always insisted on the highest standards of quality from himself and the company. He lost his third battle with breast cancer in 2007 at the age of 52. He left all of us (family, friends and colleagues) with a legacy of commitment, integrity and faith. In the past 2 years the employees and clients at AMEC Paragon have been invited to show their support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink each Wednesday during October. A good many of our guys show their support (lots of pink ties!) We took a group shot one Wednesday last October and will be "aiming" for another this year that we hope will require a wide-angle lens!

If you are interested in helping with research to end breast cancer, women can sign up at armyofwomen.org. They need one million women who have not had breast cancer as well as those who have so researchers can learn what causes breast cancer as well as how to cure it. You can join the fight against breast cancer by supporting a local walk to raise money for breast cancer research. The American Cancer Society has a "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk and Susan G Komen does "Race for the Cure." Also, encourage women in your life to get mammograms- especially if they are over 40!
