Celebrate Independence Day by helping someone gain their freedom.

While you may spend today grilling out, shooting fireworks, or toasting to the founding of a nation, take a moment to remember those who aren't free. Slavery still exists in our world today, and human trafficking is an epidemic that demands our immediate and devoted attention. So, before you light some sparklers or head out the door dressed like Uncle Sam, take five minutes to sign a petition or learn more about slavery in the 21st century. Support an organization that is working for justice across the globe. Be part of a memorable revolution and help make everyone free.

Thanks for the reminder. It's so easy to forget those still suffering, when we're in the middle of hot dog buns and fireworks.
