Always Be Prepared
To pick up litter, that is. We can all agree that it's important to pick up litter. But we may not always be equipped to deal with the trash we see on the streets or near the parks we frequent. Change your preparedness level by keeping a pair of gloves handy for just such an occasion. By toting some handy work gloves and a few trash bags with you in your car, you'll be ready to lend a hand and pick up some litter whenever you're out and about. When we're all ready and prepared to do good, we're more likely to pull it off.

My practice is to pick up one piece of trash and/or recyclable every time I am out walking (the dog, to the park, etc.). What a great goal this would be for everyone.
