If you still haven't found a creative way to use Uncle Sam's money you may have received, here's yet another idea: Fund an under-the-radar nonprofit. While nonprofits of every size are doing critical work, it's important to help the one down the street who may just be starting out. Do some research and find out what exciting things near you are being done with an overworked staffed and an under-funded budget. Then, get out the checkbook and support a small operation with big dreams. It's important to give to causes we believe in, no matter how big (or small).
