Save a Page-A-Day

Put those new calendars to use. Twice.

If you're the type that eagerly rips off the new day's page on your calendar each morning, make sure you don't just quickly toss away yesterday's information. Use the backs of your page-a-day calendars for notes, scratch paper, or even some hilarious drawings. We all love Dilbert cartoons, Bible verses and famous paintings -- but we love the earth even more. So, make a goal-a-day of using the backside of your calendars and any other paper that comes across your desk. You could even use today's to write a thank you note to the person who bought you the calendar.

I use the old pages of my daily desk calendar to tuck inside bill payments. Everyone can use a little word of inspiration or encouragement.

Great idea Linda! That's a two-for-one kind of deal: you save the environment AND make someone's day.
