Founded in 2010, Everyday Child is an education-based charity that is aiming to build outdoor learning centers in impoverished communities throughout the world, starting with their first one in Mumbai, India. Their mission is to encourage leadership and foster skills & talents amongst individuals by engaging them in workshops, guided by an underlying principle: Learn, Earn, Return.
Earlier this year, they launched a Facebook fundraiser where a simple donation of $12 will help build & sustain their Learning Centre for 12 months. Even better, once they hit their $25,000 goal, one lucky Facebook donor will win a $5,000 trip to Mumbai, India (2 flights + 1 week accommodation + tour package) to be a part of the Learning Centre’s inauguration ceremony.
